MEDISANA AG now operates under the name of MEDISANA GmbH

Neuss, 6 July 2018. MEDISANA, founded in 1981, changed its legal form to that of a limited liability company (GmbH). The innovative medium-sized company that is represented mostly on the European market as a producer of technical healthcare products (Home Health Care) while offering various brands in a total of 40 countries continues to show great continuity in its corporate management even so. The management is now made up of Ralf Lindner, who used to be chairman of the board, and Marco Getz, previously chief financial officer. Mr Kwok Shing NG joins the management as a new member. He has seat on the supervisory council of MEDISANA since 2016 and holds a managing position with its shareholder.

In December 2015, Chinese Xiamen Science & Technology Group Co., Ltd., acquired a majority share in MEDISANA. The company has since been part of Chinese Ogawa Smart Healthcare Technology Group Co. Ltd., a globally leading manufacturer of massage products.

With its conversion into a German limited liability company on 3 July 2018, MEDISANA started into a new chapter of its corporate history after nearly 20 years by turning its back on the stock exchange.
