Change at the top at MEDISANA: Marco Getz is the new Chairman of the Management Board, Ralf Lindner is stepping down, as scheduled

Neuss, 31.01.2019. As of 1st of January 2019, there was a change in the Management Board of MEDISANA GmbH, which has already been planned for a long time: Marco Getz, who has been member of the Management Board for more than eleven years, as Chief Financial Office (CFO), became the new Chairman of the Management Board. In future, he will manage MEDISANA’s interests together with Kwok Shing Ng, supported by additional members of the Management Board: Norbert Manthei und Hermann Holst.

After more than 25 years of entrepreneurial activity in the electrical equipment industry, Ralf Lindner will not be entirely lost to us, as in addition to the active management of his investments, he will continue to be involved in the industry in an advisory function, on a project basis.

Marco Getz explains: “Trough the entry into the Ogawa Group in 2016, Medisana found a strong partner and a parent company, which continues to invest massively in the growth and successful development of Medisana as the leading health brand for global distribution - particularly in the expansion of the structure in China and other regions in Asia. To optimize processes and increase efficiency, a new headquarters of the Medisana Group and a new management line will be established in Hong Kong. I will manage the EMEA Headquarters (Europe Middle East Africa) in Neuss. With the expansion of our portfolio by the brands HoMedics, Marley and Jam, as well as the additional resources in Asia, we have a good basis for the future success of the Medisana EMEA Group. Therefore, we have created a new foundation for the continued successful development of Medisana and we look forward to joint successes with our trading partners domestically and abroad.”
